Risk Management

 OBHRC member programs collect data and present annual risk management reports on a wide variety of incidents. The figure above presents incident rates of OBHRC programs in 2009, NOLS programs, high school football, and gymnastics. Injury rates are presented in injuries per 1000 user days, where 1 user day is defined as 1 client participating in a program for 1 day. The full OBHRC incident report presents information on program completion rates, the use of therapeutic holds and restraints, runaways, and client and guide illnesses.
